ABOUT THIS VLOG:
➡ Finally, it’s time to get the full experience of the derby de Lisboa at Sporting CP’s stadium, Estadio José Alvalade. It’s the second leg to semi-finales of Taça de Portugal. We also went to the first leg, which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJhYbnu7Ues
This time Sporting CP is playing home with the big benefit of the support of their fans.
If Sporting CP could beat Benfica 1-0 they would advance to the final where Porto is already waiting. A big minus for Sporting CP, however, is that the great Bas Dost is injured, which leaves Bruno Fernandes on his own, although he is the topscorer of the league with 5 goals in 5 matches.
We loved the experience of derby de Lisboa yet again, and although we aren’t fans of the José Alvalade stadium, we loved the atmosphere. It was a bit more intimate than at Estadio da Luz, which is probably because Alvalade is much more compact in its design.
Either way, we can’t wait to go see the final of Taça de Portugal between Sporting CP and FC Porto.
