Manchester United headed to Benfica for their latest Champions League clash following criticism of their performance against Liverpool.
A 0-0 draw against on Saturday might not have thrilled but it keeps United within touching distance of neighbours City at the top of the Premier League.
Manager Jose Mourinho ‘s attention turns to ensuring the Reds make it out of their Champions League group with as little drama as possible. A win tonight will ensure United stay three points above everyone else in Group A.
Benfica are currently without a point in the group and have won only one of their last nine meetings with Manchester United.
United have also never failed to score against Benfica in the nine games they have played while Benfica have scored more than two goals only twice in their last 50 Champions League games.
